Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to treat mild-to-moderate pain, and helps to relieve symptoms of arthritis (eg, osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis), such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.

Diclofenac is indicated for use in the treatment of pain and inflammation from varying sources including inflammatory conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, as well as injury-related inflammation due to surgery and physical trauma.

Mild to moderate pain50 mg every 8–12 hours (maximum 150 mg/day)
Osteoarthritis100–150 mg/day in divided doses (e.g. 50 mg 2–3 times daily)
Rheumatoid arthritis150–200 mg/day in divided doses
Ankylosing spondylitis100–125 mg/day in divided doses

🔸 Less Common Side Effects

Bloating or gas

Tiredness or drowsiness

Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)

Increased liver enzymes (detected via blood test)

Seek immediate medical help if you notice any of the following:

Stomach bleeding: black/tarry stools, vomiting blood

Liver damage: yellowing of skin/eyes, dark urine, severe fatigue

Kidney problems: decreased urination, swelling in legs/feet

Allergic reactions: rash, itching, swelling (face/tongue/throat), difficulty breathing

Chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden weakness (possible signs of heart attack or stroke)

Severe skin reactions: blistering, peeling, or red rash

Usage Instructions

Dosage: As prescribed by your doctor (commonly 50 mg, 2–3 times daily).

With Food: Always take after meals or with milk to reduce stomach irritation.

Swallow Whole: Take the tablet with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew.

Consistent Timing: Take it at the same times daily to maintain a steady level in your body.
